After the civil war, he worked for Mandilas Automobile Company at Aba for five years and then joined the Road Transport system where he served for 37 years. Until his demise, he served in several positions in the NURTW as secretary, spokesperson at state level amongst several others and plied several routes around the nation. In the course of his transport business, it is worthy of note that he met and got married to his lovely wife Mrs. Rosemund Inye Dinneya (Nee Emine). They lived like siblings. Dadoski, a Methodist by birth, grew up in the fear of the Lord and showed great commitment to the work of the Lord. Living out the fact that to love God is to know God, and to know God is to serve Him, Azubuike sought to serve God at Christian Pentecostal Mission at the then 195 Hospital Road, Aba, Abia State. As the church moved to 5/6 Ojike lane, his commitment and service remained ceaseless where he functioned as a one-time chairman Kings Fellowship (Pentecostal Action Team), HOD sanitation department, as well as a member of the marriage committee of the church. Until his death, he remained a member of the Nehemiah House of the Pentecostal Action Team. He was a man of the people, humble, hardworking and of prompt and positive response to duty. All that related with him never had cause to regret having known him. Indeed, he was a loving father and a caring husband to his wife whom he called ‘Nwanne’ is to state the obvious. ‘Obi Nwanne’ a name he made for himself truly depicts his selfless character, love and passion for his family and friends regardless of age, gender and family pedigree. His emotional nature portrayed great compassion at almost everything he engaged in, however ended up with shedding of tears at the pain of detractors. He made firm the words of his mouth, and stood by the truth no matter whose ox was gored. He intelligently dominates every discussion and never wasted a moment on non-issues. ‘Nwannem oji’ as fondly called by his elder sister was never too busy or too tired to attend to his family’s concern which included his nuclear and extended family. ‘Azu’ was a rallying point and a motivator, he abhorred mediocrity and mundanity. He had a firm countenance that was recorded unequal. His commitment and dedication to God and mankind was total and unwavering. He was a selfless servant of God, who excelled where many failed, an inventor and initiator of anything good. It pleased God to take his life on the 14th day of January, 2013 after a prolonged illness. You are certainly sleeping in the Lord, having fought a good (worthy, honourable and noble) fight, competed well, finished well and obtained a crown from the righteous Judge. What more can be said? As you lived your glorious life, you lived in the Lord, and as you sleep, you are sleeping with the Lord. You are most assuredly missed by all with whom you had a contact with. Adieu Dadoski!
